About the Position

We are seeking a highly motivated DevOps Engineer with expertise in AWS to design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available cloud-based infrastructure. You will play a crucial role in optimizing CI/CD pipelines, automating deployments, and improving system reliability while ensuring security best practices.


Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
  • Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines for efficient deployment, testing, and monitoring of applications.
  • Manage containerized workloads using Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes (EKS preferred).
  • Monitor and improve system reliability and performance, implementing logging, alerting, and monitoring solutions such as Prometheus, Grafana, and AWS CloudWatch.
  • Enhance security and compliance, implementing IAM policies, security groups, and best practices for data protection.
  • Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment strategies and troubleshoot production issues.
  • Automate infrastructure management and operational tasks using scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.


Qualifications:


  • 3+ years of experience in a DevOps role with a strong focus on AWS.
  • Proficiency in AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, VPC, and CloudFront.
  • Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline.
  • Expertise in containerization and orchestration, including Docker and Kubernetes (EKS is a plus).
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as AWS CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Datadog.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or Go for automation tasks.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.


Preferred Qualifications:


  • AWS certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or AWS Solutions Architect.
  • Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
  • Knowledge of serverless computing and microservices architectures.
  • Familiarity with database management (SQL and NoSQL) and performance optimization.
